Official name and history

WillowPoint System Ltd is the registered business name. The company was established in 2016 in Birmingham after two former network planners grew tired of rewriting the same on-time spreadsheet every Monday for Midlands forwarders.

Early work focused on paper scorecards for a handful of regional carriers. By 2019 the studio had standardised a workshop method for defining shipping SLA clocks before any chart was drawn. Today the team commissions shipping SLA performance dashboards and monthly review packs for freight, parcel, and forwarding clients across Great Britain.

How we work

We start with the yard and the customer promise, then move to extracts and charts. Designers sit with planners long enough to hear which delay codes are theatre and which ones cost a contract. Visualisations stay loud and readable — pop-art clarity on the site mirrors the boardroom need for numbers you can point at.

People

A small Birmingham studio: analytics designers, a logistics researcher, and a client lead who books discovery at depots rather than only on video calls. We partner with your TMS administrator; we do not pretend to replace them.

Values

  • Clock honesty before chart beauty
  • Language operators already use on the radio
  • Boards that survive a busy Monday stand-up
  • Quotes that name what is in and out of scope

Community

We share field notes on lane reliability, dwell measurement, and carrier score habits so GB operations teams can argue from the same definitions — whether or not they commission a full dashboard.
